For Christmas, my parents bought me an awesome sewing machine. I hadn't had a ton of time to work with it because of my schedule, but lately I've had a bit more spare time. (thanks Blackstone) Anyway, I told my mom I'd show some pictures of projects I've done.
Yesterday I made a pair of fleece baby pants for fun. Penny got a hold of my light brown thread so I had to make them with white thread...but babies don't care about that stuff do they??? Yesterday I also started this bag which I finished this morning.

I loved the material so I picked a complimentary fabric for the lining as shown here:

So neither project is perfect, and a few seams are uneven but overall I think they turned out pretty cute. I'm sort of proud of myself for having the patience to finish them. Oh well, I'll post more pictures later. Hope everyone is well.

Love the bag--super cute!
Ten points to Gryffindor!
The baby pants, inexplicably, made me think of hobbits.
Which will go well in keeping with my theme of "Willowesque."
Yeah, that stuff is cute! I never had the patience to do it well. My mom tried...but about all I can do is sew buttons! I LOVE that paisley fabric though!
Cute! And no, babies don't care about the white thread. Most babies don't even want clothes on... so... I think you're good!
Loving the bag... and coveting the material. Make me one??
If you really want one I'll make you one Dani...I seriously have enough left over material...
Meg ... the fabric ... It Baby Bucks "paisleys"
